 help to enable 3D desktop needed |

Hi, I followed the instructions on the screen but when I end current session the screen goes black and prompts for localhost:login (sorry learning). I dont think this is where I log back in as nothing happens. Any help please.

can you tell me which video card you got? If you don't know, please do the following. Open a terminal, and type: lspcidrake -v Can you post the result (the part about your graphical card) here? -------------------- |

Is it a laptop?
If it is a dual-head card, you could try this: http://www.mandrivaclub.nl/site/index.php?...indpost&p=79063 I have no idea if the ATI cards have the same issue. Please try and let us know. Your card should do fine wtith 3D desktop, I thought. -------------------- |
