MCNL is very nice & polished distro, i really like it guys.
 Because I'm XFCE fan I tried to use MCNL:Jordaan. Installation without problems, but when I try to boot from USB during boot cycle I get message saying: UNABLE TO MOUNT LOOP FILESYSTEM & it starts limited shell. On the other computer (in work) it works fine, without errors. Also MCNL:VirtuaCity works well- on both computers. Can anybody help me to boot successfully into Jordaan on my computer? Thanx in advance. |

Hi, thanx and welcome. Maybe something went wrong during the preparation of the USB stick? Or, does the USB stick work on the other computers?

Some computers, especially notbeooks, need a bootcode to finish the boot process from usb:
livecd noapic irqpoll I need this bootcode (for a usb stick) on my laptop while my desktop is booting fine without cheatcode. -------------------- |
