How to enable NTFS read-write
All hard disk partitions are mounted by default. Default for NTFS is read-only. You can easily change it.

* Get root by typing: su , give the root password: root

How to enable 3D desktop - only with Intel and ATI video cards
* Take a look at the text on the default wallpaper
How To remaster-on-the-fly
* Read the small howto in the MCNLive-menu
MCNLive is designed to run in Live mode. I do not recommend to install it on the hard disk, though the graphical MDV wizard is included. MCNLive is not a Linux distribution on its own. It is a specialized mid-sized portable live version, 100% compatible with MDV, optimized to:
* put on a USB flash drive
* run entirely from RAM (start it with: livecd copy2ram), 512 MB RAM required
* create your very own live cd /live usb version, to remaster-on-the-fly
If you like it and want a permanent Mandriva Linux system on your hard disk, please consider the 'real' Mandriva Linux distribution: http://www.mandrivalinux.com
Known issues:
* ATI x700 cards - you need to start with: livecd init 3, login as root, type: XFdrake, and choose the xorg vesa drivers.
* Some problems with kbluetooth
* Konqueror refuses to play the video.google.com flash videos, Opera does it fine.
* Some RealPlayer streams are broken.

Meer:
* via een update is de achtergrond van kdm terug naar de standaard MDV, heb ik overzien
* andere urpmi bronnen
* hwdetect heeft een optie erbij: olddetect
* het configureren van 3D desktop is gewijzigd ivm het uitzetten van translucency/composite, het zijn nu twee stappen, kijk op de desktop howto, Flash werkt nu out-of-the-box.
