Hi,

I was wondering what the changes are between VirtualCity RC2 and the Final edition? I have RC2, but it take many hours for me to download it. Would it be possible to release a delta ISO?

Thanks!
kris
Very minor changes, from the release notes:

Changelog:
* added bridge-utils
* final look
* re-written HowTo pages

* bridge-utils is only needed for the bridge mode of virtualbox, you can install it with: urpmi bridge-utils
* the new wallpaper, get it here: http://www.kde-look.org/content/show.php?content=42033

Ah, good, very minor. So RC2 also has all of the current Mandriva changes and updates?

Thanks for the fast reply!
kris
All fixes for mandriva which were available at release date.

Well, every week we get more security fixes, of course. But it is impossible to make a new release every so often. And when you are running it as a Live system you are secure anyway.

You can of course create your updated version with the remaster-on-the fly version, after applying the updates.

Look at this thread, how to install updates, add. software etc:

Good luck.

Some tips for you:

urpmi --noclean <packagename>
will keep the downloaded package at: var/cache/urpmi
You can copy it to your hard disk or usb stick, so you don't have to download it again.
