Volledige versie: USB installation doesn't remember some settings

First I want to say that I really enjoy MCNlive, it is by far the best OS that I got running on a USB drive. Most of it works great. I'm just having a small enoying problem. Some settings (emphasis on some) are not remembered after reboot. E.g. adding 2 desktops or changing kmix settings.

Is there a way for me to save these changes, maybe in a round about way?

Please let me know.

I'm running MCNLive Torronto from USB with the persist option.

Welcome Wallowa,

can you be more specific:

* what do you mean by 'adding 2 desktops', and how do you do it?

* kmix: do you have the speaker icon in the systray?
There could be a problem because of the automatic hardware detection when starting a live system (you can't disable it!), but I thought that the kmix settings are a per user setting which should persist.
