Ik heb MCNlive "Toronto" geïnstalleerd op een USB-stick. Werkt allemaal prima en ziet er mooi uit, maar er is een probleempje. Ik wil, behalve de wijzigingen die worden bijgehouden in de persistent loop, ook gewoon op de USB-stick zelf bestanden kunnen aanmaken en wijzigen als ik in MCNlive werk. Dit gaat echter niet, omdat als je opstart van de USB-stick, de USB-stick wordt gezien als een read-only CD-ROM drive.
Hoe kan ik toch bestanden op de USB-stick zelf opslaan?

De stick zou R/W moeten zijn.... vreemd.
misschien brengt dit soelaas:
How can I write physically to my flash drive when booting from USB
* Use the bootcode 'livecd copy2ram' (if you have at least 512 MB RAM). Your device is freed up.
* Since MCNLive "Delft": when booting from USB the drive is mounted read-write.
* Older versions: run the small wizard 'Remount USB rw' (in the MCNLive menu). This will make the first partition on the stick writable.
* Note: a second partition on the stick is always writable per default.

Ok, dank je. Ik ga maar even die copy2ram gebruiken of anders een extra partitie maken op de USB-stick.
